Chris Brookes is a reader, writer, teacher,
and life-long learner. She was born and raised in Lake Geneva,
Wisconsin, graduated from
The University of Michigan with a BA in Education, and began her
teaching career in Ann Arbor. Chris earned a Master of Arts
degree
in Education from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, and
taught 15 years at Lake Geneva Middle School.
Recently she has added performing, presenting, and traveling to her repertoire.
For over ten years, Chris has interwoven drama through social studies, English,
and literature classes. She has performed at the Bristol Renaissance Faire and
with
several community theater companies. She has presented programs locally, for
state and
regional educational conferences, and at the Walloon Institute.
Her most recent travels have been to Scotland and England. |
